The SHR Family and Consumer Science department offers Culinary Arts and World Cuisine as the Advanced Culinary course for the 2016-2017 school year. These courses are hands-on, interactive, and an exciting way to learn.
This year we will have Words of Wisdom with a theme of kindness from various sources.
March 27 - 31, 2017:
If you want happiness for an hour - take a nap,
for a day - go fishing,
for a lifetime - help someone else.
Course grades are determined by the following formula:
50% foods labs
25% homework assignments
25% tests (includes agenda, written and performance assessment)
This site will be helpful for completing homework assignments and being organized.
Due dates for homework will be posted regularly in the classroom and on this site.
